I’m sure once I have kids I’ll be into the whole costume thing again, but this Halloween I just wasn’t feeling it at all. My colleagues at Foray were convinced that at the last minute I’d give in and dress as something, but I stuck to my guns! No sexy-Pop Tart/unicorn/Khaleesi for me this time.
I did, however, receive an invitation to this year’s UNICEF Masquerade Ball: an annual Halloween-time event in Los Angeles. I realized that it wasn’t so much that I didn’t want to dress up at all, I just didn’t want to dress up in the cheesy costume store garb. The idea of getting glammed up in fancy gowns and masquerading actually sounded like a dream night! So that’s we did….
With Jenny (Margo & Me) leading creative direction, Cibelle Levi on hand to shoot us, and The Peninsula Beverly Hills as our backdrop, we spent an evening living out our Halloween fantasies (champagne in hand) as we prepped for the ball!
